Never the less his creative imagination in finding and destroying his enemies didn’t fail to entertain. His softer ‘daddy/husband’ role sometimes didn’t fit. Watching him disembowel the man who killed his family made me feel that he wasn’t just seeking revenge but taking an odd pleasure in his cruelty. The one question I asked myself when I’d watched this was, Did I sympathise with Reece’s tragic story? I had worries that his behaviour whilst justified in many respects, bordered on psychotic and brutal.
